BURNING NIGHTS POEM
Hello Everyone! Hope everyone’s week is going well and your pain isn’t too great. The purpose of today’s blog is to let you all see a beautiful poem that was actually written about the condition – CRPS/RSD and about my pain journey with this chronic pain condition; CRPS/RSD.
It has been written by Christine and it goes through symptoms, signs, thoughts, feelings all associated with CRPS and of course Burning Nights.
Christine spends a lot of time writing poems and in a way I believe it is her way of coping with having her only child (even though I’m an adult now, I will always be her child 🙂 )having this terribly painful chronic condition. Writing, whether it is poetry or short stories or even a journal/diary is a good way of trying to distract you from your condition or to distract you from thinking about a member of your family or friend with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome / Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.
Distraction techniques is covered in a separate blog.
So, please do follow the ‘BURNING NIGHTS POEM‘ link below to read this lovely poem, especially created for Burning Nights. If you like the poem, please feel free to comment on the post, share it on your Facebook timeline or on any social media channel.
THANK YOU!
