Maddie is a 16 year old CRPS patient who is also a wheelchair athlete. This year Maddie will be undertaking several wheelchair racing events including London Mini Marathon and the Superhero Tri.

Maddie Rolls Again is the name of Maddie’s fundraising page and she’s raising awareness and donations for three UK charities including Burning Nights CRPS Support, Birmingham Children’s Charity and Diabetes UK.

In Maddie’s words the reason why she’s chosen the three charities:

I have chosen to fundraise for 3 charities this year; Burning Nights CRPS Support, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity (BCH), and Diabetes UK.
Burning Nights CRPS Support – This charity has provided me with so much support throughout my CRPS journey so far
BCH – Without the help of my amazing physio and occupational therapist I would most certainly not be learning how to walk again and I am eager to give something back
Diabetes UK – This one is actually for my boyfriend George. He lives with Type 1 Diabetes and it deserves way more recognition and research than it has already
