Tom Lowe

Tom Lowe is the current Treasurer and Trustee for Burning Nights CRPS Support charity. Tom joined the Board of Trustees in 2015 when we started on the road to become a registered U.K. charity.

Tom's Story

Hi I’m Tom, I am a professional accountant and a former member of H.M. Armed Forces. I have had my own firm off accountants since October 2013, and we specialise in helping small to medium sized entities and I have a particular specialism in not-for-profit organisations.  I’m also a tax advisor.

I initially started in accountancy after leaving school, whilst working for a ‘blue chip’ company not knowing what all these numbers meant, I asked one of the senior accountants whom pointed me in the right direction, the rest they say is history.

All though I don’t particularly suffer from CRPS, I do suffer with severe pain following an industrial injury in 2005, where a 90-100kg weight fell my knee. The type of break I had is pretty rare, which is now affecting the opposite hip.

I am a member of association of international accountants, the association of accounting technicians as well as the charted institute of IT Professionals.
