Invitation to help with a research study

We would like to invite patient representations to help with our current research study titled ‘Establishing evidence-based management of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome to improve clinical outcomes through the care pathway (ENACT-CRPS)’.

The overarching aim of our study is to develop clinical recommendations that will expedite patient access to therapy-led treatment across the CRPS care pathway. We have completed an evidence synthesis, national survey, and interviews with CRPS patients, therapists within community settings and therapists who have a specialist interest/experience in the management of CRPS.

We now need to work with stakeholders to start to develop recommendations from our findings. A participant information leaflet with further information is available. Please note, attendees will not need to prepare anything in advance of this meeting and if they chose to take part, their consent will be assumed by virtue of attendance.

We have arranged a workshop online via Microsoft Teams on Friday 30th June, 10.00-12.00.

For further information or to confirm your interest, please contact enact.crps@uwe.ac.uk. Please be aware that we may have limited capacity depending on number of responses received.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries or questions. We look forward to hearing from you.

With many thanks,

Dr Ali Llewellyn and Jessica Coggins on behalf of the ENACT-CRPS study team
