Event Overview

A gentle, joy-building session to lift mood, ease tension and connect with others who “get it.” Laughter Yoga combines light-hearted exercises, breathing and short relaxation pauses. You don’t need jokes, flexibility, or any yoga experience—just a willingness to try gentle movements at your own pace. Many people living with CRPS and chronic pain tell us that shared laughter helps them feel less isolated, softens stress and can shift pain focus for a while. Don't worry, there are no "downward dogs" in this session!

Who is it for?

  • Adults living with CRPS or other long-term pain conditions
  • Family members and carers who’d like to join in supportively
  • Healthcare professionals curious about low-impact, self-management approaches

Benefits of Laughter Yoga

  • A brighter mood and a sense of connection
  • Reduced tension in face/shoulders/jaw
  • A short break from pain-focused thinking
  • Tools you can take away and use for minutes a day

Safety

This is a light wellbeing taster session, not a clinical treatment. If anything doesn’t feel right, skip it—listening to your body comes first. If you have uncontrolled heart conditions, recent surgery, or concerns about laughing/breathing exercises, please check with a healthcare professional beforehand.
