During the webinar, Caroline and Anne will explore:
Pain Reprocessing Therapy is an approach that looks at how the brain and nervous system process pain signals, particularly in persistent pain conditions. This session will introduce some of the theories, research, and lived experiences connected to PRT in a balanced and educational way.
We recognise that every person’s experience of CRPS is unique, and there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to managing the condition. Our aim is to provide access to information so people can make informed choices about their own care and wellbeing.
Anne is a Chronic Pain Therapist and Advanced Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) Practitioner who supports people living with persistent pain using a holistic, evidence-based approach combining PRT, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
A member of the British Pain Society and National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP), Anne works online from the Outer Hebrides and also teaches on the diploma programme at the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (UKCHH).
Having personally recovered from six years of chronic back pain, Anne brings both professional expertise and lived understanding to her work supporting people with persistent pain conditions.
